Syria is equipped with new Russian air defense missile system Pechora-2M


A video posted on youtube, Monday, July 9, 2012, shows that the Syrian army is equipped with the new Russian-made air defence missile system Pechora-2M.

Some sources of information on Internet report that in 2011, Russia would have made modernization of Syrian air defense missile system S-125 Pechora (SA-3 Goa) to to Pechora-2M level.

Algeria and Syria are particularly important customers for Russia, while there are smaller contracts with Yemen, Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon.
